Get ready for an exciting adventure at Steam Camp Summer 2025! Over the course of 11 weeks, campers will dive into a wide range of engaging and hands-on activities. Weeks 9-11 will focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), while the earlier weeks emphasize STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Designed for children in grades K-6, our camp offers a well-rounded schedule with morning sessions focused on reading, comprehension, public speaking, and debate, while afternoon sessions encourage creativity and exploration through fun science experiments and projects.

Week 1 - The Grand Blueprint (6/9-6/13)

From ancient wonders like the Pyramids to modern marvels such as the Burj Khalifa, the fundamental scientific principles of engineering remain unchanged. This course will explore these core principles through the lens of some of humanity's greatest architectural achievements. Students will delve into the engineering, culture, and construction behind these world wonders and share their discoveries. Your child will experience the awe and wonder that humans have felt for millennia when beholding massive cathedrals and towering skyscrapers.

Week 2 - Beyond the Horizon (6/16-/6/20)

Spark your students' curiosity about the cosmos with an exciting journey through space exploration! Uncover the stories of astronauts, astronomers, and the groundbreaking spacecraft that have expanded our understanding of the universe. Through hands-on learning and discovery, students will explore the Hubble and James Webb telescopes, Mars rovers, space shuttles, and more, deepening their understanding of space exploration and igniting a passion for the cosmos.

Week 3 - Elemental Odyssey (6/23-6/27)

Embark on an unforgettable journey from the Earth's core to the outer atmosphere, exploring the natural wonders that shape our planet! Through hands-on experiments, kids will learn about volcanoes, ecosystems, and the water cycle, discovering how life thrives in even the most extreme environments. This fun and educational camp experience will also focus on building survival skills, encouraging campers to share their discoveries, and inspiring curiosity and resilience.

Week 4 - Engineering Logic (6/30-7/4)

Ignite your child's passion for engineering with our Lego Builders program! This perfect blend of education and fun introduces young learners to the six simple machines that form the foundation of all complex engineering projects. Through hands-on building and communication exercises, students will develop a strong understanding of these fundamental concepts. Lego Builders is the ideal program for your budding engineer!

Week 5 - Abyss Explorers (7/7-7/11)

Uncover the mysteries of the underwater world with Sea Safari! This program takes kids on an educational journey through the ocean's diverse ecosystems, from vibrant coral reefs to the deepest, darkest trenches. Students will learn about the fascinating creatures that inhabit these realms and discover answers to intriguing questions like, "Why is the ocean salty?" and "What is the largest animal of all time?" Through presentations and hands-on experiments, your child will develop a deep appreciation for the ocean's wonders.

Week 6 - Stellar Voyagers (7/14-7/18)

Ignite your child's curiosity about the cosmos! Through hands-on activities and engaging lessons, they'll explore the mysteries of the solar system, galaxy, and beyond. Aspiring astronauts will delve into cutting-edge rocket science from NASA and SpaceX, build a solar system model, and present their newfound knowledge.

Week 7 - Microscopic Marvels (7/21-7/25)

This week's lessons will zoom in on the miniature world around us, teaching students about life's building blocks in an engaging and interactive way. Through hands-on experiments, students will explore a world that's invisible to the naked eye and gain a deeper understanding of these tiny creatures.  The week will culminate in show-and-tell presentations where students can share their discoveries, and of course, microscope investigations!

Week 8 - Mystery Unraveled (7/28-8/1)

Embark on an unforgettable journey with Worldly Wonders! Your child will discover ancient wonders, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and awe-inspiring natural and man-made marvels from around the world. Through map reading, language practice, and cultural exploration, this course reinforces learning while providing an engaging and educational experience. Combining geography with practical skills, Worldly Wonders sparks curiosity and inspires a love of learning!

Week 9 - Elysian Wonders (8/4-8/8)

Embark on a global adventure with Worldly Wonders, where kids will discover ancient wonders, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and awe-inspiring natural and man-made marvels. This course combines geography with practical skills, reinforcing learning through map reading, language practice, and cultural exploration. Fun and educational, Worldly Wonders provides an engaging experience that inspires while deepening your child's understanding of the world.

Week 10 - Med Explorer (8/11-8/15)

The human body is amazing, but sometimes we need a little help to stay healthy. This camp gives your child background about the medical profession and teaches your kid the importance of healthy living. How does a vaccine work? What is the immune system? Your child will take in these and other important facts while learning about the men and women who work to keep us healthy such as doctors, nurses, and Lab professionals. Being healthy has never been more fun!
